Born and raised just outside of Boston in the small town of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, Danielle Dilorenzo has always stood out from the crowd.   A star athlete from a very early age, competing in gymnastics, playing varsity soccer, and breaking school records in track and field, Danielle was never one to back down from a challenge. At only sixteen years old, Danielle was selected to represent the United States at the World Gothia Cup International Soccer Tournament, competing among the world's best players in Germany, Sweden and Austria.   Throughout high school she also worked with the Ford Modeling Agency doing fashion shows in the Boston area.

After graduating from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a minor in theater, Danielle moved to Florida, where she worked in medical sales for the Wound Technology Network.   It was during this time that Danielle's life would take an unexpected turn in a new and exciting direction.

While in Las Vegas on vacation with friends in 2006, Danielle was approached by a casting director from CBS who asked her to audition to be a contestant on the popular reality series, Survivor .   Two weeks later, Danielle was on a plane to Panama with absolutely no clue what she had gotten herself in to.   Her competitive nature quickly took hold, however, and she managed to place second in Exile Island Season 12 , gaining enough popularity with fans to be invited back in 2010 for the Heroes vs. Villains All-Star show, in which she was ranked 7th.

With a boost of confidence from her success on Survivor, Danielle took the plunge and moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue her lifelong love of acting.   Throwing herself completely into her craft, Danielle began training, studying at such respected schools as Warner Loughlin Studios and Hot House Improv , and with coaches Marjo-rikka Makela , Eric Honeycutt , and Ivana Chubbuck .

It wasn't long before all of her hard work began to pay off, and Danielle began landing lead roles in features such as the dark horror-thriller Armynel , in which she plays Felicia Debliacco, a high powered lawyer whose lesbian partner embarks on a crazed killing spree after learning of suppressed childhood traumas; the gritty drama 180 , where she stars as Tuesday, the spurned love interest and band manager to a drug-addled rock star on the edge; and the upcoming crime thriller, The Black Russian , shooting this fall in Mumbai, India.

In 2010, Danielle branched out into the realm of the internet, landing the lead role of Kenzie Collins in the dramatic web series River Ridge .   After a successful first season, the production team is currently gearing up for a second, in which Danielle's character Kenzie will be an even more prominent fixture.

With a second season of River Ridge fast approaching, negotiations in the works for several upcoming features shooting around the world, and a host of auditions for some of the most prominent names in Hollywood, the future looks bright for this one-of-a-kind star on the rise.
